"SMALL PRESENTS MAINTAIN FRIENDSHIP - SO DO LARGE MEDALS" MAXIMILIAN HEIDEN

This medal symbolizes peace on earth which can only be sustained by permanent dialog and trust. The laurel wreath is the sign of peace and embraces the continents. The handshake above it substantiates the trust in the spoken word of dialog. Of the two cuffs one stands for a civilian and the other for the military to show clearly that all participants have to take part in dialog to ensure the task of peace on earth. The medal to be worn at the lapel shows an additional diamond at the bottom of the laurel wreath, symbolizing the everlasting striving for peace. The diamond, which got its name due to hardness (greek: ademas = the unconquerable) stands for something precious, noble and valueable – like the unconquerable, everlasting striving for peace on earth. The lapel pin is hand made in Munich out of white gold (18 carat).

"AWARDS AND HONORS ACCOMPANY THE PEOPLE AS LONG AS THOSE WHO CLAIM THAT THEY ARE NOT NECESSARY."

According to this motto, every single “Golden Germany” is formed in handicraft and is suppose to honour the award winners. As part
of a top class VIP regular table named after Alexander-Klaus Stecher the price was initially awarded in 2013. “The Golden Germany” honours personalities who have rendered outstanding services to Germany, the German society and/or the German audience.
